The project include the selection of 6 catchments located in 6 different countries subjected to different climate conditions, in which, flash flood events and extreme meteorological phenomena, can be experimenting changes in frequency do to the effects of Climate Change.
These kinds of events can cause damages that can be harmful to humans and can represent important losses in infrastructure and cities. The study of these different situations can certainly propel important advances in risk assessments under a pan-European vision in order to develop strategies of resilience and preparedness to the challenges poses by the climate emergency.
